I was thinking about some artistic changes for my DA page for a while so I decided to rework my avatar and personal signature (the logo displayed on each of my artworks).

The new logo design is more classic, yet it is far more easy to see it when it is applied to my illustrations in smaller sizes. It was fun redesigning it in Illustrator CS2, I really enjoyed playing around in this program once again.

Also, I started experimenting new techniques regarding my art. I'm beginning to paint directly in Photoshop, skipping the traditional sketch phase. It's a bit hard at first, but I think successfully applying this painting method more often will greatly improve my art and also make me work faster...at least I hope so (since until now it's taking me waayyy too much time to produce artwork this way )!

I have added two new deviations depicting a cartoony style I find quite interesting. These two pieces were realized using a mix of traditional and computer medias. Enjoy!
